Our story

Heartlight was inspired in 2010 by the Principles of Attitudinal Healing. These Principles were introduced to us through the book Teach Only Love and resonated so deeply that we contacted the author of the book, Dr. Jerry Jampolsky. At the recommendation of Jerry and his wife, Diane Cirincione, we began to learn the Principles by studying them together. The five founders developed our first Study Group of 12 people in January 2010, and thereby began our journey of bringing Attitudinal Healing to the people of Central New York, and now via Zoom, throughout the whole country and beyond.

Heartlight’s passion has continued to be sharing the transformative potential of the Principles of Attitudinal Healing.  Because these Principles are practical and powerful tools to help us and others experience life more peacefully, we grew personally and Heartlight grew as an organization.

Heartlight became a 501(c)(3) Non-profit in 2012. With the continued support of Jerry and Diane and Attitudinal Healing International, we have shared these Principles with hundreds of people throughout Central New York by facilitating small groups, presentations and workshops. We are part of a growing international community that believes in the power of taking responsibility for our thoughts, attitudes and experiences as a way of choosing love over fear and peace over conflict.
